RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Police say a 14-year-old has been charged in connection to the deadly shooting of a Richmond 15-year-old.
Police were called to the 2300 block of Afton Avenue just after 4:45 p.m. on April 8 for the report of a shooting.
After arriving on the scene, officers found a teen shot in the street. He was rushed to the hospital where he later died.
RPD says detectives charged a 14-year-old with murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

RICHMOND, Va. Richmond Police identified a man killed early Monday morning as Mark Adamson.
Police were called to the 2800 block of Hull Street in Richmond where officers discovered Adamson.
Adamson, described by police as a man in his 50s, had been shot and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The Medical Examiner is working to determine the exact cause and manner of Adamson s death.

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - The victim in a deadly shooting that occurred on Hull Street Road overnight has been identified.
Police responded to the report of a shooting in the 2800 block of Hull Street Road near East 28th Street shortly around 12:08 a.m.
When officers arrived on the scene, they located the victim, Mark Adamson, unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound.
Adamson, a male in his 50′s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

RICHMOND, Va. Richmond Police are investigating after a woman was found unresponsive in a building in the 3500 block of East Broad Rock Road.
Police responded around 6:26 p.m. to reports of a person down.
Officers arrived and found a woman down and unresponsive, suffering from injuries from an assault.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. According to police, a man is in custody.
